Relation is the instrument of staging.
This cycle introduces the principles, tools, and ethical framework of Intimacy Direction for theatre. Participants learn how intimate and vulnerable content is analyzed, prepared, and staged through a consent-forward choreographic process. This is not embedded production work; it is the classroom where practitioners, directors, stage managers, and performers learn what Intimacy Direction is, why it exists, and how it changes the room.
Acting students, MFA programs, theatre companies, directors, stage managers, performing arts educators, and individual practitioners. No prior experience required.
60 minutes. Live (in-person or Zoom) or asynchronous.
